Another Hari Raya Celebration....

Hari Raya Celebration again!!...Yay!!..Sambutan Hari Raya kali ani berlokasi di tempat yang sama pada minggu sebelumnya(Garnett Hall). But this time it took place at the residence of Brunei Students studying at Strachtlyde University. As usual, lots of people attended the celebration, including some Malaysian and Singaporean students. I don't know what else to tell but we makan, minum, berkurapak dan bergambar(No green packets!..sigh~). Kinda forgot what really happened that night, late posting...that's y....I wish I can upload more photos but so unfortunate I didn't take a lot of photos that night(Dunno why!..). HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI CELEBRATION @GARNETT HALL

The first day of Syawal for this year fell on the 12th October 2007, which means it's Hari Raya Celebration! ..Holiday!!..Yay!!..Well not the case for us here in Glasgow. It happens that the first day of Hari Raya fell on Friday(working day!)..So there goes our Hari Raya mood..Instead of wearing our NEW Baju Cara Melayu(For some who managed to 'potong' their new Baju Cara Melayu while back in Brunei!) as usual to show off and impress among us, we have to wear them to our lectures instead..That was a new experience for some of us 'newcomer'..Moving on to the real Celebration..Our first Hari Raya gathering was held on the 13th October 2007 at Garnett Hall, Cathedral Street (The residence of Brunei Students studying at Strachtlyde University)..I couldn't say much but the celebration was awesome!..Brunei Foods were served! (I'm not sure what they were but they were prepared by Bruneians!)..Sorry for the late posting but here are some photos taken on that night..
